Mother of Pearl CMC Table Lighter

A mother-of-pearl CMC table lighter with a mosaic shell exterior that shifts between soft tones of silver, cream, green, and pink as it catches the light. CMC produced decorative mid-century lighters that brought a sense of occasion to an everyday object, and the luminous shell gives this example an especially refined presence. The lighter has been refreshed with a new flint, wick, and cotton packing for continued use.
